Re: LUGNET in its Senior Years? (was Re: How to properly "announce" MOC's)

(...) Hi Jim, as a matter of fact, LUGNET members do not need to authenticate posts if they sign into the web interface and post from there (as I am doing right now). Only the news (NNTP) and mail interfaces require authentication even for (...) (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: LUGNET in its Senior Years? (was Re: How to properly "announce" MOC's)

(...) The web/email authentication system strikes me as an unnecessary obstacle to casual discussion. Before I obtained a Lugnet membership last year (inspired by the Great Brickshelf Crisis of '07), I often had difficulty posting messages. (...) (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) We certainly don't. That's why René and I joined forces to continue to run LUGNET in the first place. Speaking purely for myself, I have found LUGNET a highly valuable resource ever since my personal darkage ended in 1999. There are lots of (...) (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Hi all, I just finished a crude first version of a Blender to Ldraw export script!   Anyone Interested?

Is there anyone interested in teaming up on a project? I need someone who has some graphic skills to repro some livery. I have images (jpeg) of the Seattle Sounder livery for the engine and cars, but no graphic skills, or knowledge for that matter. (...) (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains)

Re: June Grand Openings for LEGO Brand Retail

(...) The exclusive Texas set was indeed a Space Shuttle Orbiter. I've been told the Arizona set was a cactus and I'm trying to get pictures or instructions of it, myself. As for the Texas set, I'm afraid you'll find the number of TexLUGgers willing (...) (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

Re: June Grand Openings for LEGO Brand Retail

(...) Does anyone have any info on these two exclusive sets? I heard the Texas set was a space shuttle. I'd be interested in seeing photos. Please let me know if anyone wants to sell the sets and/or instructions. Thanks. (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

(...) Jerry, I am glad you have come out and posted this. Doing so tells all of us who have been here since this place started that you don't want LUGNET to die either. Adr. (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New Ldraw parts authors tool: Intersector

(...) I thought more about that. Maybe the most effective way would be to keep these tools outside MLCad, but bring support with two new MLCad possibilities: - Save a selection - Insert a file. This way, you could visually select elements to process (...) (16 years ago, 6-Jul-08, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.mlcad)
