(...) I strongly recommend downloading LDLite for viewing .dat files. If you associate .dat files with LDLite, you can view them directly from the lugnet web interface. Also, LDLite is considerably faster and allows shading. I just installed LDLite (...) (25 years ago, 4-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Totally agree with Mike here (1) Arbitrage is a good thing. Arbitrage also drives prices to where they belong. Jim, I agree that the Mac version of the software is better than the Mindstorms software, but I do have to commend Connectix Corp. for making this change in their software. I am not sure if it is directly because of the Mindstorms device, however, (...) (25 years ago, 2-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Not necessarily so, there is some residual capacity. I have replaced batteries in the past without loosing firmware or programs by flipping out the old, and inserting the new within a couple of seconds. (25 years ago, 2-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)
