  Re: MOC: Hundertwasser's KunstHausWien

(...) Fantastic, really shows the many possible asymmetric and odd shapes you can create with Lego. And an incredible amount of patience to figure out how to do them all! Roy (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: LDraw LEGO Ambassadors?

(...) Ahui - I thought the same had happened with you, eh? How's it going? Will I see you at BrickWorld? -Tim (16 years ago, 2-May-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Using LDraw (and LeoCAD, LDGLite, LDView) on 64 bit Linux?

Sorry, I missed your bug report. LeoCAD used to compile on 64 bit computers but it's been a long time since I last tried and I don't have access to one anymore. From your bug report it looks like 'make config' is failing. You can either manually (...) (16 years ago, 2-May-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.leocad)

  Question about NXT Servomotors

Hi all, With the NXT system, do the motors accept a position input, and hold it in servolock? IE, do I tell it to move to 587 (pulse count), and it will try and maintain that position, even if I push the output shaft away from this position? -Iain (16 years ago, 2-May-08, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) (snip) (...) I would like to provide brickfo for the PaB wall at Bel Square, WA as soon as I get to go there again. Suggestion: Instead of X/Y, use R/C, R for Row, C for Column. Even for those of us familiar with X/Y, it's a bit confusing (...) (16 years ago, 2-May-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Using LDraw (and LeoCAD, LDGLite, LDView) on 64 bit Linux?

(...) A 32-bit build of LDView should work fine as long as you have the 32-bit shared libraries installed that it needs. If you want, I can work with you to get it up and running. As it happens, I have successfully built a 32-bit version of the (...) (16 years ago, 2-May-08, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.leocad)

Coming to London from May 7 - 13!

Hey all, I doubt that I'll have time to visit any local clubs or events, but I was wondering what shops I should look for to perhaps take home some bricks in my baggage? We'll be staying just a few blocks east of Regent's Park. Is there a Lego store (...) (16 years ago, 2-May-08, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Using LDraw (and LeoCAD, LDGLite, LDView) on 64 bit Linux?

(...) About 6 years ago there was a build of ldglite ran in 64bit linux on an alpha processor. It could possibly be made to work again but I can't really recommend it because the old LEDIT tutorial is now long gone from here: (URL) the tutorial it'd (...)
