These were built for the upcoming March 2008 "Around the World in 80 Days" themed TexLUG display. I think I did a pretty decent job, considering I'm working with inventory scraps and leftovers. I have been working on my next project... Terex Demag has introduced a new "twin" kit for the CC8800. This crane has a capacity of 3200 tons.... I have started my model of this monster! (...) The comments on TechnicBRICKs describe dissapointment about the arm lifting mechanism on the 8295 being similar to the 8283 - however I can clearly see a linear actuator nex to the driver's seat - I wonder if the article writer missed this? (17 years ago, 19-Feb-08, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
