Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) That is a bug that the webmaster is looking into - this has happened with the free download, although the error message was false. (...) Try and print a magazine one at a time, and you'll see pretty clearly. Joe (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) I have - lulu copies have been available for some time (although those will have to be pulled off too). You can too. Prices on demand are very high. Like I said, I have looked at as many options as I can. Joe (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Re: 2007/2008 LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) Election is open

(...) Yeah, I saw that. I just didn't realize there were so many distinct layers on the LDraw onion. I figured since it's being discussed on Lugnet instead of some internal LDraw mailing list, it fell into the same "members" category as the (...)   Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) That looks good, but for the moment, twomorrows don't even process orders from my part of the world. It's still plenty of time left until February 2008, so things might change. What's wrong with using lulu.com? They have printing works on this (...) (17 years ago, 17-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) Have you checked with lulu.com? They do printing in Europe when delivering to Europe, so the shipping charges might be lower. OTOH, I don't know what that would mean for the prize of the magazine, and your margins... (17 years ago, 17-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Re: 2007/2008 LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) Election is open

(...) Jim, I just checked your status. You only have user rights, you're not an .org-member: "Only LDraw organization members may vote..." If you are not registered as a member of the LDraw organization and would like to join, follow the (...) (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: 2007/2008 LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) Election is open

(...) Ha, nope. In Safari, Firefox, Camino and Opera, I can see all four ballots listed when I'm not logged in, but once I log in to vote the LSC ballot is no longer listed. I guess I just misunderstood the eligibility for voting. Sorry. Jim (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: 2007/2008 LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) Election is open

(...) Right. Well, maybe I've found some sort of caching bug in Safari 3 - it only displays the first three polls, even after resetting the browser. Everything comes up fine in FireFox, though, so no worries. Thanks, Jim (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: 2007/2008 LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) Election is open

(...) Elections on LDraw.org are driven by Orion's MOTM postnuke module. You should actually see 4 polls: the MOTM, POTM - Best part, POTM - Most desired part and finally the LSC election. (URL) (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: 2007/2008 LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) Election is open

(...) Is that ballot link correct? It just takes me to the model of the month ballot. Jim (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) **cut** Joe, Keep up the good work, there will be many things to over come and that is normal. There will be many people who will show support and many who will not be so happy with things, that too is also normal. (Hopefully when people see (...) (...) **cut** (...) **cut** Thank you Allan, I don't think too many could put it better than that! I totally agree with your statement, it is the side of the story as I see it too.   Advent calender spotted at Towyorld

Toyworld has stock (at least the Fremantle store did) of the 2007 City Advent Calender (set 7907) at a price of 29.99 in case anyone is looking for one. The set has 8 different minifigs in it (fireman, construction worker, airport worker, mechanic (...) (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Question about set 7907

The box for set 7907 (the city advent calender) shows a picture of this part: (URL) is listed as being an airplane control panel. However, the Bricklink inventory for the set (the only one I can find) does not list this part anywhere (even as part (...) (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)
