Lego, Nathan Sawaya in Newsweek, 4/16/07

All, I didn't find this mentioned anywhere here (sorry for the dupe if so)... There's a nice 6-page writeup on Lego in this week's Newsweek, "Building an Empire One Block at a Time". Despite repeated use of "Legos" to describe our beloved brick, it (...) (19 years ago, 13-Apr-07, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: Another New NXT Utility

(...) "beautifully silent" ... hummm, and this is from the author of wav2rso ;-) I don't have stats to prove it, just a feeling. From the looks of the muscles in the legs of that roo, Mullet-Head is going to have one nasty headache in the morning. Perhaps he'll even develop a photographic memory as a result of the camera embedded in his head? Heh, I couldn't resist. Nice vig, (...) (19 years ago, 12-Apr-07, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: The Blacktron II

(...) Wow! I love the exterior. Very nice use of BT-II trans-antifreeze all over the exterior. The bridge is fairly simple, but cool. I love the interior of the hangar bay. The details that are there make it look like the inside of an aircraft (...) (19 years ago, 12-Apr-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)
