I have updated both versions of the NXT Screen utility to play the "! Click"
sound on the NXT when a button is pressed.  Since I delete all the standard
sound files as soon as I can after installing the official firmware that means
my NXT continues to be beautifully silent when I press the buttons on the PC (or
on the NXT).  That also means that I haven't been able to verify that an NXT
which has that sound file on it actually makes the appropriate sound when you
press the buttons on the utility.  Could you try it out and let me know if it
works or not?

"beautifully silent" ... hummm, and this is from the author of wav2rso  ;-)

I don't have stats to prove it, just a feeling.  Having the kids personalize
their NXT programs using sounds converted using wav2rso does a lot of good!  Two
girls were quite pleased when their revived NXT started out with "OOBER" instead
of "! Start".  You helped me set it up.

Kids are rather fond of wav2rso.  In fact, just this week, one kid wondered if
the NXT could play iTunes.

Anyway, I tried both of the latest NeXTScreen versions, but did not hear "!
Click" out of the PC.  It has always played off the NXT.

Again, thanks for both wav2rso and NeXTScreen.
