 | | Odd buckets I found today

I was poking around in a TRU today. I noticed various odd Lego buckets way up on a high shelf. I bought all of them. 4055 FreeStyle bucket (red), shorter than the Lego Classic bucket 4288, 320 pieces 2494 Lego System bucket (purple), same size as (...) (...) It sounds like you're saying that the intermediate resistance values happen only for some period of time (short by human standards) while the touch sensor "switches" from "on" to "off" or vice versa. Other people writing in this thread have (...) (27 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) The way I debounce is by using a simulated RC network ("RC" stands for resistor-capacitor). RC networks exhibit a "decaying exponential" response to an input waveform. Here is an example of how to simulate an RC network: averagereading = 0; (...) (27 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Touch Sensor as a Switch
|
|
I played around with sensors and wires, and came up with a way to use the touch sensor as a switch. See my post at lugnet.cad.dat.ideas (URL). Unfortunately, even when the touch sensor is pressed, it still has a significant amount of resistance, so (...) (27 years ago, 25-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
