Re: a correction! to r/c servo

(...) Thanks to everyone who sent answers clarifying the issues of what signals you need to send to a servo. It was all a result of me thinking that servo pulse width was controlling the rate of rotation (rather than the rotational position, which (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  POV-RAY question

I've been messing around with pov-ray today and I've been trying to figure out how I can get headlights/taillights/emergency lights for a fire truck.   T-16 Skyhopper

I think I've finally finished this long-promised T-16 (Snowspeeder alternate model). This is actually the third version. The first succumbed to the forces of the dark side (my kids got hold of it before I could LDraw). The second I finished before (...) (25 years ago, 23-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New robotics sets spotted at Zany Brainy

(...) The Raleigh NC Zany Brainy also had a stack of 6195s. They didn't have piece counts on the front of the box, so I suspect they are European stock just like the 6979 Interstellar Starfighter they had earlier this year (and still have some of). (...)
