  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) My dream set would be any set that is the same as (i.e. a reissue) or similar in style (even if not in actual theme) to any space set from 1978 to 1993 (i.e. classic space through to Ice Planet). Or in fact, any space ship that is clearly (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) I'll stick with the answer I posted to a similar thread about a year ago: Globe model kit (18” - 24” diameter) with stand. Built with plates and bricks to provide good resolution to the continents. Similar to the one pictured in The Ultimate (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  WAMALUG in the Washington Post

Just saw this on the front page of the Washington Post's website: (URL) 35, and Something Went Snap>. The first part is about the Master Builders, but several WAMALUG members and LUGNET posters are mentioned at the end. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's (...)   Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) Miniland-Scale Sets I'm thinking something like what they have in the display cases at the LEGO stores. Like the one with the limo and the movie stars. The complexity of the construction would appeal to AFOLs but it would still have play value (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) A 9v Steam Engine for the train line would be great. Sometime a little more realistic than the Make Your Own Train locomotive. I'd be willing to pay as much as the usual locomotive sets go for. More if the motor is included. -Elroy (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) Just a realistic, plain old house - four walls, rooms, stairs, lots of furniture. I'd go as high as $40 or $50. Thanks for taking this on, Nelson. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) I second that. 6 firefighters, 6 police, 6 construction workers, etc. the town/train fans would buy them up, as well as my kids ;) Darren (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Development status

(...) Santa thinks I haven't played enough with my RCX since I got it, so he won't give me a NXT just yet. ;-) (...) Aside from some signedness warnings and a missing function for converting unsigned to float, brickOS compiles nicely with gcc HEAD. (...) (19 years ago, 25-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

New photos in my brickshelf folder

Finally taken some photos and scanned them and uploaded them to Brickshelf. (URL) new subfolders are:- 'candytower' - one of 4 identical towers originally built as outlying structures for the bigpinkcastletower. Still unfinished (note the gap) and (...)
