  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Thanks! You are one of my major influences. (...) Wow. I am truely flattered. I guess my suggestion would be this beast: (URL) But, what if it were done it with your approach? In its heyday.   Pneumatic compressor

Going from this compressor from CSSOH (the guru of pneumatics)-- (URL) was using an RC motor to power 1 mini-pump. I used it (slightly modified) for running my new 'steam' engine, 'Big Blue'-- (URL) issue is, as pointed out by CSSOH, the cylinder (...) (...) Jonathan, Again, an excellent collection of buildings! Your town layout is the epitome of everything that I evenetually want my home layout to be. (earth toned realism) I really like the use of the brown hinge top on the edges of your (...) (19 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Couple of new(ish) buildings

(...) Hi Jonathan, There's an awful lot to like here. I think these are probably your best facades yet. The detailing and colours are perfectly chosen. The decorative elements are of the same quality level as the top German town builders and they (...) (19 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.town)

(...) --snip-- Hi Brian, Just to clarify the box is red/white/shades with a smattering of dark red. I don't think there is any blue in it. Tim (19 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Upcoming Factory Train Box (was: Re: Red Train Doors)

James, Yes, I'm quite excited about this box. And it fits in quite well with how I build. I'm not a great "from scratch" builder. So I scan the galleries, find something I like, generate part lists, then shakedown BrickLink for parts. So I'm looking (...) (19 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Red Train Doors

Holger - thanks for sharing the image. It really shows off what you can do with UTB. I'm glad the decision makers chose to go with red/blue/gray. I assume the fronts on the middle section are SNOT fronts and not the single piece train front (red) (...) (19 years ago, 8-Nov-06, to lugnet.trains)
