  Re: Missing seams

(...) mklist won't change any files. You do not need to manually edit the header. The mere fact that 3429 is found in the PARTS folder is enough to recognize it as a part. Just to be sure: you run L3P on Space_fork_lift.ldr and not on (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.people.newbie, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Christmas Train Show

I would love to do a big bridge. But I think my efforts should focus on my part of the layout. :-( But maybe we could have a big bridge building party at my place. Oh and the height problem, isn't a problem. The bridge comes in on our second level. (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: poll: what would be the best date for our next meeting

I'm sure this is the case for almost everyone else: I am completely dedicated to our group and would love to attend any and all gatherings, but there just always seems to be a major stumbling block to my attendance. Sundays are a no go. Work is the (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

Re: Building the Christmas Train 2006: Set 10173 - brief report & pics

(...) Like Jordan I found that triple wheel sets work fine as long as the wheels are close together. However, with my (URL) breakdown crane>, I found that it did increase the rolling resistance somewhat in corners, so your trains will slow down more (...)   Re: Christmas Train Show

Jeffy and I talked about the height difference--he thinks we can handle it. Thinking about it, I think we can, too 'cause the feet on our table s are adjustable. That said, we will need a pretty long bridge--say about 4-5 feet. Can anyone make this? (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I haven't tried it with this set, but I did try a six-wheeled version of the locomotive from 4563. It worked fine, as long as the wheels were one set right after the other. If there is any additional spacing between, one runs into problems as (...) (20 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
