  I feel Blue

I have been objective to the standard part colour combinations from TLG for a few years now. This post is not a bashing of new greys or browns. Axles have always been black, so to friction pins. Many parts have always been produced in few colours. (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.color, lugnet.parts, FTX) !!

  Re: Factory Set: Checkerboard Boxcar

(...) Thanks Steve! Being able to import LDraw files into LDD was a big part of this. I pretty much did all of the designing in MLCAD and used LDD more for checking part availability, checking for proper LDraw conversion, and quick prototyping and (...)   Re: Factory Set: Checkerboard Boxcar

(...) Hi Chris, Thanks! I'm really glad to hear you like it. Yes, the red plates in the LDD trains palette are sparse but luckily they had 4 x 6 red plates which were good enough for my 6-wide needs. You had a lot more area to cover in 8-wide. (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

I wish you had asked me first before you went ahead with this. If you are trying to sell some parts then (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Sticks and Stones....

(...) Much Thanks for the cred. I apologize, though....I crowned myself "The Chain Originator"....the actual MOC's name was "Multiplicity: A Study in Using Multiple Copies of a Single Element," or something along those lines. Sorry for any confusion (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Re: 2006 LSC: Call for Nominations

(...) Thanks Willy. I'll accept this nomination, with the provisio that it doesn't require more time than the last year's worth of LSC newsgroup postings indicate. (My complete house-remodel continues apace, and tends to gobble up most of my free (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)
