 | | Legoland Trip

On my last trip to San Diego I went to Legoland, CA. I must say that it is one of the coolest places I have ever seen. All of the displays are absolutely superb. I have to admit that I am disappointed at the volume of bids on the lots I've listed on SC. Given the voracious bidding on the boats in the "500" auction I expected some serious bidding on these. Don't make me list them on eBay! :-) (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

LOL As if anyone would want to copy that crap that TLG uses at their parks! (At least in CA) Those *aren't* LEGO trains, but rather hybrids that would be scorned in a *pure* group like this. Just because an employee of TLG built it, it doesn't mean (...) (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

As someone who likes attention to detail, I have to agree. I've spent about an hour looking at the details in this diorama. I especially like your attention to the window treatments. The use of lamp posts in a new way is also very interesting. And I (...) (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
