  Re: Red lady mosaic

Okay, I just finished typing the tutorial. It's long. The first mosaics will be easy, but things will get comlicated in the end. If you have questions, I'm sure you'll know where to post them. These tutorials will be text-ONLY. It assumes you have (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  MINI Model No. 90!

Hello altogether! I'd like to announce my 90th Star Wars Mini Model. This time it's even one from Episode 1 which had slipped through until today, the Trade Federation AAT as seen during the Battle of Naboo. Here is the gallery with instructions: (...)   new MOC: experimental mecha X6-1 "Rail"

It's called an 'experimental mecha' because I didn't have a particular goal. I did intend it to be light, almost architectural. I was going for something like Soren's (URL) V siren> (I love that model!) but ended up with something... different. As a (...)   Red lady mosaic

(2 URLs) Brickshelf link> I like mosaics. I like SNOT. The unholy combination of these two resulted in what I'll call mixed mosaics. (anyone willing to devise a witty acronym is free to do so.) Anyway. The most basic mosaics are made with the studs (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: My Train Collection

You have some real nice models there, you have picked the cream of the crop of other peoples designs and matched them with some great ones of your own. The steamer has already been commented on but my eye was also drawn to (URL) and the red version, (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Horseshoe Bend Rail Road - Rail Truck

(...) Thats is really nice, curiously I was reading a magazine review of the Bachmann model a couple of days ago. I love the way you have managed to fit the 'workings' into the load space and keep the diminutive look of the cab and hood. Its one of (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: WW1 War Department 2 foot gauge Baldwin

(...) I've said this to you elsewhere but I'll say it again... Excellent work as usual! You've really taken the narrow gauge idea and pushed it brilliantly. High accuracy on a working train (and a flashing fireplace). Now you just need release more (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Techno Union Starfighter

(...) I like your design, it's nice and clean, although it's more sleek than the picture in Lucas' databank... the original ship looks more bloated, kind of like a tick. Yours is too "nice" - it doesn't have that bloated tick look :) Kelly (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Interesting AFOL article in NJ paper

(URL) is a pretty decent introduction to AFOLs. Has some interesting quotes from Steve Witt, and mentions BrickFest. One downside: everybody is quoted as saying "Legos". >_< - Kelly (19 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.mediawatch)
