Re: MDP (was: Questions about fan involvement with TLC)

(...) Well, I'm sorry, but I have to ask - if you have so many other commitments, why did you apply? I'm sure there's many others who would have loved to participate, and have more time to contribute. Note: Certain members of the community will (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: 4888 Ocean Odyssey alternate MOCs

(...) Yep, you're right the arms are just on a 1x1 clip, but still surprisingly sturdy (though probably not up to being stomped around like my nephew would play with it!)the only real problem is because of the black tubing, it pulls the gun arm off (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.space)

Re: Questions about fan involvement with TLC

I'm under some NDA action and it hasn't affected my posting/building at all. The time commitments were always very minimal. My devotion is to the building-- the relationship with TLG was secondary. While I was an ambassador I was a bit more mindful (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: 4888 Ocean Odyssey alternate MOCs

(...) Nice work, and good call on alot of newer builders. I think its a convenient excuse to say that its impossible to build anything worthwhile with a small assortment of bricks. I grow tired of hearing people say that if they had a large (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: 4888 Ocean Odyssey alternate MOCs

(...) Gorgeous! I love the wing-like shapes on the second model. The way they angle back and curve down at the same time is very sexy and surprising. On the first model, it looks like the right and left attachments are held on only by a 1x1 clip. If (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.space)

(...) Yes, programs are executed on the PC. (...) Nothing is stored on the device. (...) It resides on the PC. (...) AFAIK, you will need a newer version of ROBOLAB. The older versions (forget which) did not support ControlLab. If you're up to the (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Help with converting voltage on circuit board

(...) Hi Danny, If we supply +12V to the top of the transistors, the drive circuit will most likely not be able to block those transistors completely (unless said drive circuit has an open collector structure with a pull up to the emitter of the (...)   4888 Ocean Odyssey alternate MOCs

Hi all, I recently went on a work trip and took the parts of set 4888 Ocean Odyssey with me. These two MOC's were the result. (4 URLs) All I added is a mini-fig. I wouldn't normally post about these MOCs, but I've seen a lot of posts from fairly new (...)   Re: Request for info on the Control Lab Interface.

Just today I got one of these from an eBay auction, including the original cable in a sealed plastic bag. The ROBOLAB software wasn't included, however, so I imagine that I'll need a driver of some kind to use it. Does anyone have a driver? (This (...) (...) Great Joe Vig vignette! I really appreciate the fact that you take the time to make the animated images of your vigs: that makes them all the more impressive. Joe vs. the Fleebnorks!   Re: My Second Original Mech

When I look at this, it makes me think that it should be dancing. I can't think why. I like it. Agility is great, fragility is not so great, but seeing as I can't actually touch it, who cares? I like that tubing 'tache best of all - especially as (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
