I am definitely looking forward to the F1 racer! Do you know when it will be available in stores and at what price point? If Nathanael designed it I know it is going to be very cool! I was always amazed at the F1 racer he designed out of set 4404. I (...) (20 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Always liked Monty Python's! That Knight looks really cool! Fantastic use for that useless KK body. And btw that's a MOC. Should we talk about such things on LUGNet? Or are we violating an unwritten law? Think we're just doing what LUGNet once (...) (20 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

This is pretty neat and spacey. Is the .dat available somewhere from you for download? I'd like to build my own version someday. -Stefan- (20 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Tim actually wrote this. I've just been compiling our responses. That's a good question. We purchased 20 packs of track at a brick and mortar with the 10% LUG discount several weeks ago. That was still $240 for 160 straights. Would I pay LEGO (...) (20 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Thanks. My main goal for this, other than having a working crane, was to have it fit in nicely with the rest of the train. It's a bit taller than I would have liked, but as my wife pointed out, "It's an old machine. It's supposed to be big." (...) (20 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Now that the Thomas Weekend event at LEGOLAND CA is over, thought I'd start posting images of my engines and cars. The boom itself is on friction pins, so in reality it's held in place by the Hand of God (i.e., if I keep my finger under the boom, it doesn't generally drop anything). (...) Hi James, Thanks. LOL I feared I might have had my levels a little off. It's meant to be orange (there is real red on the top). I have to say a lot of credit goes to Soren for the containers. The train is just a prop for it. Tim (20 years ago, 29-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
