  Re: New Power Armor PA006A

(...) At first glance this suit looked like so many other mini robot suits with a minifig head on top, and in comparison it's great on detail and articulation, one of the best I've seen of the like. Then looking at your brickshelf gallery it turns (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: 2 wide train design wanted for NMRA fund raiser

  Adaptive Sloping Track Module

I've just posted a drawing explaining how to extend a railway layout when the track slopes at the point of extension, without intrducing an excessive change of slope. (URL) is used in my new large layout, which will be 16ftx12ft (37x28 of 16x16 (...)   Re: Some NXT sites I've run across.

(...) I don't agree either! To the point that when I temporary unmount two beams connected with several pins (and pins remain attached randomly on one beam or the other), I generally end up placing all pins on the same side to reassemble beams... (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Some NXT sites I've run across.

(...) Agreed. (...) Ditto here too in all normal circumstances. But when comparing the two examples, I can see where the second one might be tougher. With the alternating peg strategy, a person should be able to put the beams together in a zipper (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Where to find Joe Vig Head (Ron Weasley)

I looked all through my minfig heads and couldn't find this particular face. Maybe it's already on one of the minifigs in one of my models from the club train layout, though. So I went to Bricklink and couldn't find it there either. Where can I get (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Re: NXT System Requirements

(...) Thanks for that Eric. It is still a shame there is no Linux solution in sight, but maybe once it is in the wild they will come from those who created other tools that acheived this on the RCX. Just out of interest, will it be using Shockwave (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Brick Basket

(...) The sensors I have from set 9701, used with Interface B, have yellow connectors for passive devices (2x4 touch switch and thermometer) and blue for active devices (light and rotation). A good way to get some (yellow, blue and also red) might (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Wonderful Show in St. Paul (Pictures Posted!)

(...) That picture must have been taken Sunday afternoon after we started tearing down. Usually the mountain has several dozen trees on it, the green helps to break up that large area of dark grey. And we certainly don't have "too many dark grey (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains)
