  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) As with my (URL) Stormwalker> I chose the color scheme mostly out of brick availability. (BTW, I've build up a good stock of red bricks by now.) But it sometimes was difficult to follow the line and not to scatter the two colors to much. (...) (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Memory question

(...) Most functions in NQC are in-line functions, so in a sense they probably *are* in main(). One thing I do is place all my initalization code (as much as possible) into inline functions. That way, when the compilier runs through, it can allocate (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Memory question

Say I had a program that has a very large block of start-up/calibration code that is run once at the top of the program. Does it make any difference if I keep it in the "Main()" task, or put it in a function? I mean from the point of stack space (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: All those contests we never ended up doing...

(...) The axil sorter looks very interesting, might be a little hard to do, but could be a good challange. The hockey game could be fun with the 8475 remotes. (20 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Bulls Ice Peak Castle

(...) I like the use of brown in the castle; it fits in with the Bulls faction very well. Not sure why there's a Star Wars disclaimer at the bottom of the page though. David (20 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, FTX)

  My first mini-quad

Hi, I was inspired by Sigurd's mini quad: (URL) So I decided to have a go myself. My mini-quad includes the switches and timing circuitry, unlike Sigurd's mini-quad. (4 URLs) This quad is basically two of these bipeds hooked together: (URL) Please (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Ideas for Lego Chipper?

(...) Correction: The wheel the blades are mounted on would not be Lego either. Based on the feedback the last post got, I sould probably make on that just shreads food such as long straight pretzels. All I really care about is that it can shread (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-05, to lugnet.technic)
