Ok, I promise I'm not trying to win the prize for the oldest thread resurrected :) But when we were at Brickfest a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that many of the conversations that I was involved with were about code, and websites, and how to make (...) (...) im about to START to make this game board. my FIRST step is to get the thing to balance (more or less) THEN Since the rules state the robot with its "side" up at the end of the game, is the winner, i see no reason why we CANT just put in a (...) So nobody has any problem with the beam not having a counterbalance, and it cartwheeling wildly out of control at the begining of every game, with the slightest offset in mass between the two robots, and guilotining the lower-guy's robot (...) I uploaded a model over lunch (about 3 hours ago now), and it's still not approved... which is reasonable, but I was rather hoping that they'd have some staff watching the incoming folder and approving things in more or less real-time the first few (...)
