Hmm, I just had a quick idea that may be what you're looking for, what about a ratchet system? Take a gander at what the Spyrius Robo-Guardian 6949 uses for keeping the arms in a raised position. The only reason I thought of this is that I'm in the (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) Good point Dave, I have never seen any acknowledgement of trademarks on any of the old 50's-70's Esso or Shell items. Ditto for the 1:87 cars/trucks. No box or brochures (that came with these items) had acknowledgements either. On the 1:87 (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) and that is the understatement of the century. Transport costs are already a goodly portion of the gross order billing.
