Hell, let's just switch over to a meritocracy. We can imprison the inept and get it all over with. Who gets to decide whom has merit? One activity I've used w/a huge age range is "A chair for Mr. Bear" (URL) being listed as a k-2 activity, I've used it on pre-K through college level.
