(URL) 1962-65 European catalogs show the 1:87 cars with a red garage and a white base (the base is incorrectly shown as gray in most catalogs, except for the British ones, which (...) (...) Arne, The 1x6 and 1x8 bricks from 1955-56 (the first years for printed bricks) both had 3 "sections" underneath (although starting in 1957 the 1x8 bricks had 4 sections underneath). On my bricks (with no "LEGO" on the studs) the middle section (...) (21 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)
