Re: Berretti logo classic space: buone + brutte

(21 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Specs Lego motor

I am writing to you regarding the specs for a Lego Technic motor 43362. I would like to know the moment of inertia and the dimensions & mass of the rotor. I would be grateful if you could send me a data sheet. Sincerly, S.M.Ahmed ___...___ ALL-NEW (...) (21 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  1999 Mindfest Sensor Tutorial

I was digging through some old Mindstorms files and discovered the original PowerPoint presentation I gave at Mindfest way back in 1999. I've posted it in HTML form at the following URL: (URL) was a "hands on" tutorial where people made homebrew (...) (21 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Train part suggestion

(...) I think it would be a GREAT part. Note that Rick Clark has devised such a thing (and quite a clever design it is, too) from readily available parts: (URL) takes care of the fans, but doesn't help out the mundanes, which are, after all, the (...)   Re: communication with USB on Linux

(...) Probably not. (...) You can keep it, just install the new one in a different directory and make sure you don't use the old one (change LEJOS_HOME and PATH). Jürgen (21 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

  Train part suggestion

Dear Lego, While watching my son put his train on the track I thought it would be great if LEGO made a level crossing that aligned the train on the track. When I was young (30 years ago), I had one for my HO scale trains, and I loved it. You could (...) (21 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: The End of the ISD - An illustrated Star Wars Story

(...) Hey now, are you saying Gungans are "Animals"??? They don't have very good table manners (my dog is neater), they're not very bright (my cats are smarter), and they are very annoying (a rabid racoon stalking you is less annoying!). But still, (...)   Re: Town/Train/Space Pictures - Toy&Hobby Expo & January Meeting Reports

(...) That's Steve Ringe's work. He's our most prolific 8 wide builder (although he CAN and DOES build 6 wide sometimes, he's not an 8 wide snob like some(1)).
