Re: The Ryetsumaki - MC7 Ball Joint Frame

(...) Aww hey that is great. It was fun and such a releif to be honest that I didn't have to scratch engineer my own joints. The skip ahead and build factor was much apreciated. Unussual feeling at that, thank you. Glad you like the result. I am (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Costco and HarryPotter motorized train

Before Christmas, Costco had some Motorized Hogwarts Express train kit (train plus some straight and curved tracks) at about 170$ and a 40$ discount coupon. Then, they reduced the price to 99$. It is still at that price as we speak. Here in Quebec (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Mediterranean Windmill

(...) I'm not sure if you mean it's too big or too small - I'd say it's pretty close for minifigs! I saw several on the island of different sizes. This would count as one of the largest, but size of this style varies depending on where you go. Some (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.schleim)

  Re: Spiral Staircase

(...) Very nice. It might even look better when you use 1x1 cones instead of round bricks in the ballustrade. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: The Ryetsumaki - MC7 Ball Joint Frame

wow, wow, wow. OK, big props to Marcus for supplying the frame and the inspiration. Eric, this is an awesome build, especially for an all nighter. It's just a shame that there aren't parts to match to close up a few holes. Like a trans green plate (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Ryetsumaki - MC7 Ball Joint Frame

(...) WOW!! I am not sure what to say. About a month ago I sent Eric the frame for study. I did that so he could see it first hand. When I first say his Little Bot I thought it was cool but appreciated more after I built my own. Hence the reason for (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

New point motor with a little SNOT - design submitted for testing

For those who like to experiment with such things, I've designed a new point motor. I'd be grateful if someone can build another one and try it out. It's a combination of one of my earlier designs with some elements of Mark Riley's control (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Mediterranean Windmill

Hello! When I was browsing BrickShelf and I saw this windmill it was crying "Don Quijote!" to me. :-) That's a cool building, both in terms of building techniques and in terms of realism. It's not exactly minifig scale, though, is it? Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.schleim)

Nu är den klar. Den här caden är grovt förenklad men ni borde förstå vad jag menar. Min brickshelf sida (URL) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

Re: Naboo Starfighter in Technic figure scale

(...) Nice! I really like the curve just behind the cockpit curving back toward the tail. Good lines there. Too bad there's no real way to get better contrast between the yellow and gray, though - I'm spoiled by the chrome effect of the UCS (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)
