  Re: The Beeesh

(...) -snip- (...) -snip- (...) Here is just one example of you assaulting my character behind my back. Please stop and go pick on someone else. I have absolutely nothing to do with you and you still find something nasty to say and kick around with (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Who is building a ministacker?

(...) I got confused by that. too. The rules say pained corners, and using Dave's playfield, plain plywood, 8x8. I thought Daves was 4x4, and painted grey. Thought RTl's was 8x8 painted grey... what is it? -Rob A. (21 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 9 ft Television Tower

SNIPPY Long time no build! Newer builders like Matthew and myself are in awe of you. What more is there to say? It's all fantastic. Some highlights for me have to be the curvature of the top section- so hard to achieve. The best thing is that youve (...)   Re: Who is building a ministacker?

(...) Hey Rob, We're going with the 8x8 field, not the 4x4. I dunno how smooth the joint is on the 8x8--I think the center part is good 'casue it's got the piano hinge under it, but out to the edges, where there's no hinge, there's a bit of a lip. (...)   Re: Santa Fe El Capitan Hi-Level

(...) That's a good idea. I'd go for removable tape than permanent paint. I'll look into this. Thanks. later, James Mathis (21 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: The Great Ball Contraption

(...) Thank you Tim! You point out the strengths of the "loose spec" far better than I have been. And based on that, I'll now have a module that will adhere to the Type I spec, but allow left or right 90-deg turns (with 32x32 or smaller neighboring (...)   Re: The Great Ball Contraption

(...) Thank you! I found this page ages ago when trying to find an easy way to build a step feeder (I've wanted to build one ever since a certain Playful Penguin thread in rtlToronto), and it inspired me to start a list, but I couldn't relocate it!   Re: Brick - plate plate - brick

(...) I warn you, if you think a block-stacker is parts-intensive, the GBC is far worse. Part of the problem is I now need >shudder< more system bricks (my 7-year-old son has them, not me), *and* more plates, 1x16 beams, etc., etc. Once you build a (...)   Re: Command Bunker SN45 MOC

(...) Good stuff! I like the army of faceless slobs led by a band of weird-looking misfits - very GI Joe. Their guns are great - the first thing I did when I opened (URL) 4790> was connect the click-hinge and the gun piece, but the technic pin on (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
