Re: LEGO at war in Iraq...

(...) They are using Lego for the "large buildings" (I would assume that they are using various bricks for them and poker chips for the "small buildings". They are only using gravel for the roads. Ben Medinets (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: S@H Exchange Rate?!?! (was Re: BNSF high balls it!)

(...) I think I have to back Kevin on this one. Major international corporations charge a fixed exchange rate. This is an acceptable Accounting Practise. However, I would look back at year end (or whenever the audit would take place) and question (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.dear-lego)

  1 to 25 Gatehouse

After nearly a year of designing, drawing and building, I have finished the gateway to Sokenniwell Castle, just in time for LW2004, a great Dutch LEGO-event. Don,t mind the Bel-girls too much. Their presence is only for being a reference for the (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.announce)

Re: I want to become a reviewer

(...) I use a modified stud.dat with logo. (I want to build virtual Lego models, not MB ;-) Then mirrored studs also occur in MLCad and LDGlite and L3Lab. Niels (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Mercedes Benz Actros 1840 Strawtransport, Scale 1:13

Hi Anders, It's a very nice model. It's very life like because you've added lots of details. And the opening doors are a nice detail as well. Now you can have a good look into the driver's cab. And do they want to buy your model? I think it suits (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

On ebay: several MISB including 1590 ANWB

On ebay I offer several MISB sets like 1590 ANWB, 6395 Victory Race Lap, 6022 horse cart and Shell soccer promo's. Take a look at: 1590 (URL) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: S@H Exchange Rate?!?! (was Re: BNSF high balls it!)

(...) I'm going to have to disagree with your logic here. Main Street came out last year at an exchange rate of 1.31 (85Cdn vs 65US) and the Canadian dollar is doing MUCH better than last year. Why suddenly 1.50 versus 1.31, or the current ACTUAL (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Big Truck

I recently saw this truck, and I must say it is huge! My only qualm with it is that it, along with all the other big technic trucks I've seen on Brickshelf, always use independent front suspension. As for compliments, I'd have to say that's a nice (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: New 4400 tub at PayLess too?

(...) Save A Lot is affiliated with Kroger ? interesting... I found this page which shows the various Kroger grocery store Banners by state. (URL) (who lives about 140 mi from the nearest Kroger) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.us.in)

  Re: LUGNET Blimp Has Arrived!

(...) BrickShelf is having database problems. Hopefully the folder will be restored soon. If not, I will reload the photos on Saturday. (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.town)

  Big Truck

This guy is good. I think this is the biggest truck ever put on brickshelf. What does everyone else think? (URL) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: I want to become a reviewer

(...) This is exactly why I consider mirrored studs to be a non-issue. This error manifests itself on only one program (L3P) and is able to be compensted for (LDView). I strongly suspect (although Lars will have to confirm) that the next version of (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

I'm glad it has arrived, but where has it gone? I don't seem to be able to view the pictures. Bryan (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.town)

Re: New 4400 tub at PayLess too?

I bought the last one at the West Laf store which they gave me for $4.00 since they couldn't find two more. I thought that was very gracious of them. Every Walgreens I went to the clerks were super friendly, they must give out happy pills at the (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.us.in)

Re: New 4400 tub at PayLess too?

(...) It sounds like I hit both stores between you two. With Walgreen's buy two, get one free, I didn't want to buy the last two on the west side, so I only bought one. And, with only one in the LAF store, I decided against getting it. How many did (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.us.in)

Re: New 4400 tub at PayLess too?

(...) I called both Krogers in Crawfordsville earlier tonight. Both said that they don't have any LEGOS. That's bad news, but I don't consider it a big loss after the red tubs I've bought at Toys R Us and the 4562's I've bought at Walgreens. I was (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.us.in)

Re: New 4400 tub at PayLess too?

(...) Hi David and Rick, I'll save you the trip to Kokomo. The Krogers there are LEGO-less and after talking to the manager they are going to remain that way. Same goes for the Krogers here in Lebanon, Noblesville and Carmel. The management in all (...) (21 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.us.in)

Sorry about posting a reply to my own message but I just wnated to know if anything screwy happened to any one else on Brickshelf.com all my recent pictures were deleted after they were made public!
