 | | Part number for old Technic piston?
I'm doing a cross-check on a part number. Can anyone confirm the number of the older, square Technic piston? Peeron shows the number for this part as 3652: (URL) shows the number as 3562: (URL) seems likely that the number on Technica is a typo, but (...) (22 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.loc.it)

 | | Re: DCC Controlled Signal

(...) I think with a red/green bi-colour LED you can get any colour between the two by varying the mark/space ratio of the alternating waveform. A DCC controller varies the mark/space ratio of a square wave in order to drive the motor at different (...) (22 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.mod)

(...) Is it possible to make the blocks the other way: TILE BRICK PLATE ?? It makes it easier to handle the blocks as they don't have a significant concavity on the bottom that way. -Rob A> (22 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

 | | bad motor output because of bad lego firmware?!
Hi there, I've spent the last two days trying to write a function in NQC that transfers data to the Lepomux I/O-extender. The data transfer is normally done by connecting the Lepomux to one of the motor ports. Each transition from one motor state to (...) (22 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

(...) Maybe one should start by asking all the people who have entered past block-stacking events... Then, ask Dave if grabbing a 2x2x2 cube is harder than a 4x4x4 cube (used in past events) From my experience, I'd say block stacking is NOT an easy (...) | | Re: What sort of LEGO-related printed materials do you collect?

(...) Allan - I've been waiting to get the 'The World of LEGO Toys' book too. I hear it is pretty good. Personally, I collect idea books (the older the better) and anything I can find from the 1960's and 1950's (catalogs, pamphlets, etc). I don't (...)
