good idea. but any cad model that uses a piece in a color it does not come in should be excluded from other catogries. anyway what i really ment is can people use ldraw parts that have not been released in an update yet? (26 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

I think all points should be discussed in a committee. No pun intended. I think any piece could be used as long as it was produced in at least some color.
