How are lugnet.loc.us... groups being used these days?

I'm curious. I was in Florida for 2.5 weeks and posted in lugnet.loc.us.fl and got no response at all. I have seen very little activity in the various lugnet.loc groups I follow. I sense that most local even planning is now done on private LUG or (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.us, lugnet.org)

  Re: train4 Video

(...) Way cool! Well worth the download. Can anyone post more details about the container crane? (around 00:56 footagewise) Is that a magnet or something else picking up the container? (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: MISBI Lego Price Guide available NOW!

(...) Have most people given up on eBay in favor of Bricklink? I find them both useful. In general I find that eBay is cheaper. It's in the nature of the method of sales. Someone wants to sell *now* versus someone who can wait until he gets his (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Ideas for Brickswest sessions

(...) Why, what better place than the place I saw evidence of TLC employees mutilating brick? On the tour of the model shop, we were shown models under repair that had mutilated bricks (some not even really necessary, like cutting a brick or plate (...)   Re: New Train Poster: 4-6-4 Steamer

(...) I agree - Jeroen really produces jaw-dropping work. It was an honor and privelage to be able to collaborate with him. (...) It really is an amazing little program. Actually, Kevin just recently produced the next version of the program, which (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad, lugnet.publish)

Re: [rtlToronto] Watch Chris and Calum make fools of themselves

(...) I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and blame the time of day.... but still. your normally a very well spoken media relations person for rtlToronto.   BricksWest B-S-T

Just in case people heading to BricksWest haven't been following the BW group, the B-S-T page has now been updated at (URL) the rules for the K-8 TRADE (Yes, TRADE, not take). Please be sure to bring parts or money to buy parts if you think you (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: New Train Poster: 4-6-4 Steamer

(...) Thanks Jake! Actually, that's how this project got started. I looked around the LEGO room, and realized that I needed some more LEGO-type decor. Although it looked to be considerably more effort than simply going out and buying a poster of (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad, lugnet.publish)
