For some of them (the cowcatcher and some of the side tubes) I simply used the flexible hose segments in LDRAW to simulate flex-tubing. For the rest (all of the (...) I think this one has merit Pat, particularily for it's fidelity to the 70's anime ship aesthetic. Poking around the several Yamato/Starblazers referrence sites, it struck me that the designs of the time are curving, bulbous lots, often resembling (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

I too have to say congrats...even though I couldn't watch it... don't have cable and don't have a strong enough antenna from where I am to get it. <sigh> ...its not like I watch that much TV anyways. :) Wow...that is quite a bit of exposure in the (...)
