Re: OFW IV "WolfSpyder" and the FCS ESAT "SpyderNest"

Oh, you mean like, Wild the Suit is, refinements are good they are. (hrrmmmm) Lego leads to building, building leads to thinking, thinking leads to twinkies. Strong are the forces of Dark Chocolate. Trully wonderful is the mind of a Lego Builder. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

Jason, the gears would work if I had a motor, but I am affraid right now it is purely cosmetic aside from having all 6 wheels spin together. Thank you! out (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

Re: New Mosaic: Map of the USA

That is absolutely stunning. This is the coolest thing I've seen so far this year, lego or otherwise. Great idea for a subject matter too - cool and functional. It'll be interesting to see the map after everyone's stuck their dots on. Eagerly (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.events.brickswest, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Eric you kinda sound like Yoda! :^) I am glad you enjoyed it, It really isn't that new of a concept, I need to get out of that suit rut! out (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

Re: New Mosaic: Map of the USA

(...) Thanks. I was thinking of using a different color of dot for each fest. Or not, I don't know, I hadn't really thought that much about it. I figure they're really cheap on bricklink so I might pick up a few hundred before the fest. The flag (...) Thank you! I had been playing with those handle bars for a while trying to think of a new way to use them. out (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

  Hey, James, I've been wondering...

(...) What does that rank mean, in the overall hierarchy of a ship or a naval station? (I presume it means something other than "you have to stand on the prow for the entire voyage, or the fantail if we're going backwards". :) ) best LFB XFUT - (...)   Re: New Mosaic: Map of the USA

(...) One of the benefits of building big is the pixellation of the edges between the states is minimized. That, and I spent a great deal of time while I was making the images tweaking the borders so they looked good. (...) If I really felt the urge (...)   Re: B&O V-2 Hudson Steam Engine

Very cool. The pilot and tender detail are very nice. And of course that linkage. On a seperate note, neat wagontop hopper. It'll look great behind the steamer! -Stefan- (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: MOC: German WWII halftrack and armoured car

(...) Yes, but first of all that was a public post (not a private email), and second you made a value judgement about adults who *are* interested in the military and show this with LEGO in your words. Just as you did in this post. I responded to it (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)
