  Re: Gateway patent using Lego

(...) Thanks for the clarification. I did not know that internet documents did not classify as prior art (bewildering in itself - are these the people we trust to sort out the legalities of technology?). If it helps, there is at least one other book (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New RCX sensor: Wire guidance sensor

(...) Hi Gus, This is a very impressive project. Thanks for sharing the information. I tested your program with a similar bot just to see your program in action. It performed flawlessly. Bob Fay (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Copenhagen Metro subway station!

(...) I considered writing the Copenhagen Metro Company and ask if they could use my model for some purpose. But the model was only built for my own fun (and of course to be published on Brickshelf and Lugnet!). I haven't yet attended any LEGO train (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  RE: A Generic Idea

(...) If there are USB Logitec camera drivers for PPC (especially for the ball cams), then try those. Many of the Logitec drivers will work fine with the LEGO cam (considering it's a Logitech cam to begin with). Conversely, the LEGO cam drivers work (...)   Re: 8475 Motor Tests

That figure was the normal operation (no load) figure. What concerned me was that it was a factor of almost 20 higher than the gear motors which normally run about 10mA. Of course, it is very easy to overlook the fact that the gear motor is (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  MINI's in my hands, WOW!!

Hey all, Just got the first wave of four MINI's today at my local Target (4484, 4485, 4486, and 4487). Ummmmm, WOW! Double WOW! While the ISD represents the grand scale that Lego can accomplish, these sets clearly represent the possibilites of (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New 2003 Town Sets

(...) Wow, thanks for posting these pictures. On one hand, I'm glad to see traditional town sets returning to the Lego product line. I hope, however, that there won't just be police kits (there are so many already!) but a broad range of other (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Alco c420 2010 Diesel Locomotive and a Generic

(...) Yeah, I probably shouldn't have even announced this MOCery of the USA diesel. You and others have spent years fine-tuning and perfecting the look of the USA diesels. I'm playing catch-up and obviously not matching your specific and mutual (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Construction Toy In LDraw Format!

(...) Ok, I got a few emails asking for them so... The original knex library is here: (URL) modified version is here: (URL) believe both versions of the library have some unnessary "0 STEP" lines that should be removed to avoid random pauses. (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)
