PS In a reference in my previous post, I did not mean to exclude any Canadian brethren when I mentioned the Great Lakes. Clearly Canada is equally a part of the shipping and commerce of that region. I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Review of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

Hey Kerry, While I'll agree that the model is not easily handled and cannot be swooshed around, I wasn't disappointed by this at all. In fact, I expected it. Given it's scale, the model would have to be glued together to be sturdy enough (horrors!). (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.au)

Fair Use vs. Infringement (was: Re: Intellectual property and the Internet)

I think this is more accurately treated as a work of art, _not_ an invention. Let me quote Rogers v. Koons and Sonnabend Gallery, Inc. (960 F.2d 301, cert. denied 113 S. Ct. 365). Artist Jeff Koons purchased a notecard with a photograph of a couple (...) (22 years ago, 29-Dec-02, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.de)

  Wheel axles

Still no answer on the box primitive naming conventions. For my spoked wheels I needed a new primitive, like the box3#8.dat but with all adjecent edges.
