  Re: HB Memory

Stef, The HB comes with a 32K ram chip addressed at $8000 and above. A fair amount of this space is taken up with the Pcode interpreter if you run Interactive C, but there is still lots of room left for programs. Good luck, Gary Livick (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Internation Building Idea Book #1 - 1960-67.

This is a reprint from RTL - Gary Istok. (...) was available from about 1960-67 in several different versions. I notice that yours is in Swedish (I assume). I have a complete (mint) copy of this book in German, as well as a few pages from an (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

  Trip Reports?

Hey c'mon you guys. It's been 3 whole days since you've got back from Carlsbad and I've only seen one trip report! Cough it up! I want everybody's take on the park. What you liked and didn't like, what needs improvement, how much it cost, etc. etc. (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: MPD Parts? (and a confession)

(...) I suggested this for LDraw2. I think Jacob is including some variation of this idea. And Paul Gyugyi is actively talking about supporting this in LDLite. I think (but I'm not sure) Lars is going this way in L3P as well. (...) One thing Gyug is (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Sharp GP2D02

I purchased two Sharp GP2D02 infrared sensors from Acroname and downloaded their interface to a Handy Board and Barry Brouilette's interface to the Handy Board. I was wondering which any of you have used and why so I can select one to use on in my (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  multi-device output controller

I've been considering various ways to control more than three output devices with only the three ports and came up with the following idea. I don't have the electrical design knowledge to implement, so if this idea sounds good, I'd like to (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: people i would most like to build with...

Scott, Wow, I work there! (consultant for the University), but commute from Detroit's eastern suburbs (57 miles). There are a few other LEGO maniacs in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area, and then there is Larry Pieniazek, who lives in Ada Michigan. The (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)

  RE: FORTH editor/IDE

(...) I'm not in the process of writing an IDE, but I'm not sure you need one either. (...) I'm going to make the pbFORTH a bit more user friendly shortly, by adding a MARKER word that essentially clears out all of your own definitions. (...) The (...)   Re: 3-wire converter for homebrew sensors

(...) It is a heck of a lot of complexity for a little added linearity. If you look at the plots on my general purpose interface section; the simple resistor interface is pretty linear. I think most of the nonlinearity in the powered version is due (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics)
