I purchased two Sharp GP2D02 infrared sensors from Acroname and downloaded their interface to a Handy Board and Barry Brouilette's interface to the Handy Board. Scott, Wow, I work there! (consultant for the University), but commute from Detroit's eastern suburbs (57 miles). (...) It is a heck of a lot of complexity for a little added linearity. If you look at the plots on my general purpose interface section; the simple resistor interface is pretty linear. Is anyone considering, or in the process of, writing an editor for pbFORTH on the PC? I am thinking of doing one in the style of RCX Command Center ((URL) but don't want to reinvent the wheel if there's one on the stocks. I haven't tried pbFORTH (...) Ahh, but the stipulated purpose for Pete's sensor brick is that it gives a _linear_ response that isn't corrupted by the non-linear diode drop caused by currents that are often less than 2ma and perhaps not past the "knee" region (...) Hi all little question: How can I ad a value to a pointer ?? int *px, x; px = &x; px = px + 1; (????? pointing to the lowbyte of x for example) Is it just NOT possible with IC or am I missunderstanding anything ???? The Lego/Datca catalog has accessory parts packs for mini figs and some of the instructional sets. Some Technic parts in bulk ie: differentials, gears(50 - 100 per bag) and pneumatic parts. It's a freebie catalog, get it from their web site. -- (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)
