I hooked up my amp meter to the lego motors that come with the Mindstorm and they were drawing <= 100 ma. If my readings were correct I would think any 9-12V transformer that is greater than 300ma would work with the Mindstorm. It is not the current (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I hate batteries. I have a lego bubble-blower in my office that I use as a demo when people tour our center, and it is really annoying to have the battery-pack batteries die at inopportune moments. take the files out of the expansion-libs directory, and put them in the libs directory. over-write any previous files by the same name. make sure IC is configured to load lib_hb.lis on boot. that should be it... not sure where you're getting hung (...)
