I was wondering something... People's lego creations are getting more and more complex, especially with technics and such... How do you guys go about rebuilding your favorite great model designs? Do most people photograph their best models (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Not my cup of tea, but a local store has 5 of these for 28US$. I don't have any targets near by (or at all in Canada) but it sounds like they would have a better price if they have this set. yes, memory wires should be oscillating, back and forth betw 0 and 5 volts. this is not floating; floating implies not connected. re: your other DL probs, usually, it is a bad connection on the PCB. try continuity checks on the memory subsystem.
