 | | A real live working LEGO Shelf railway...
| Well I am here to announce that I have completed the structural portion of a shelf railway in our soon-to-be baby's nursery. All the details you need are on the web page but rest assured that this is a working and powered LEGO railway not just a (...) | | | | | RE: Pricing on Lego Sets
| G'day, I'm not trying to start any cross continent flame wars...just trying to show people they're not as badly off as they seem to think. [and want others to think...I'm sure there are places worse off than Australia, too.] I wouldn't mind it so (...) (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
| | | | | Re: Will there be more Castle in 2001 ?
| Actually, the reason Star Wars has replaced Space isn't because of Lego, it's because of Lucasfilm Ltd. They insisted that Lego refrain from making any futuristic spaceship-oriented theme while they make Star Wars sets. Bummer, eh? At least the SW (...) (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle)

| (...) You're forgetting the fact that online stores don't have to pay for store overhead like the ones in the mall, and if they're selling most things at mall-store retail prices, where's that extra $ going? ~Mark (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
