(...) Well I didn't know that LEGO assembled them this way but come to think about it that is how I always disassemble mine and I have not cracked a torso yet. (...) I've had this happen on some of my figs that have never had their arms removed, including Flatfoot Thompson and a '96 coast guard fig.
