It may be trivial to you, but maybe the people that are engaged in this thread ARE intrested in it, and do we should let them end it. (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Bloodstone Inn completed, teaser story up!

(...) Hmm, I never thought of it that way... I guess I am a bit more influenced from ancient Israeli/Middle Eastern buildings than European, after all that *is* where I grew up... In school we always had field trips to some ancient ruins... (Oh, (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Visit to Boston April 15-16

(...) Well, I'd love to, but you all know the problem with that (age < 18)... I'd be glad to meet Tim and I doubt I'll have a chance to do that again soon (unless he ends up going to college here). If you guys would have a mini-meeting, would it be (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Fairy Tale sets arrived

What do you mean? Are you only looking at the instructions without opening the bags? Why buy the set if you aren't using it? (Well, unless you just didn't get a chance yet - I can relate to that...) I mean, the instructions aren't published (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.belville)

Re: KB Kids Sale? Not quite?

(...) Yes, however take a look at their regular prices! They're above TLG's suggested retail by about 20% (at least in the sets that I just checked)! This may be a new policy. I bought from them a few months ago and got quite reasonable prices. I (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I was offered a bunch of 12v track today. the guy had a layout set up with 26 straights, 32 curves and 2 points. He also had a bunch more not set up (i counted about 30 more straight centre conducting tracks, but didnt confirm how much more of the (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: KB Kids Sale? Not quite?

(...) True, but with 20% off they end up lower than retail price. This is especially true on clearenced sets, like the divers that are already 50% off, plus an additional 20%, ends up to be very cheap (e.g. $23 for 6441, original retail ~$60) -Shiri (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: anyone want 12v track

Just a side note, not really related to this post. I was caught buying 12v stuff a few weeks ago. It was described as "rails", I bought quite a pile of it.... it turns out that rails a the metal conductor strips. My own stupid fault I suppose. Scott (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
