I have recenty perfected a simple sensor using the Sharp IR detector but I need some help in interfacing it. I plan on having about 16 sensors all around the perimiter of the robot but I don't want to have them running all at the same time because (...) Success on the first bootstrap download and failure to write into RAM could easily be explained by a fault in the memory circuit. The memory circuit, which includes the 'hc373, the 'hc132, and the RAM chip itself, with about 27 signals going to the (...) (28 years ago, 13-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) I too have this problem. I originally thought it was the RS232 converted, but I have since replaced this part and still get the downloading error (using HBDL and DLM).
