  WTB: 8880 8480

I am looking for ONE each of 8880 Supercar and 8480 Space Shuttle, in good or better condition: - sealed is not important - cosmetic box damage is fine (the box is just going to go into storage) - all parts present and undamaged, although I can (...)   Re: Pictures of GFLTC at GATS Ft Myers on our stie...

Firstly may I congratulate you on quite a brilliant layout, I love the station. I really think that the Amtrak diesel in gats00fm11.jpg (a P42?) is impressive. How did you the continuation of the tricolour lines on to the nose of the locomotive? (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  Re: futuron

(...) I don't know why either, I got my red one from the minifig pack, it was always interesting to wonder why that is. Maybe LC (TLG, TLC, LG, LC, etc.) had a special ranking system, and they decided to scatter them around. I wonder what the ratio (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

WTB/WTT: Base Plates from Various Sets

If anyone has any of the base plates from the following sets, I will buy/trade for them. I'm basically looking for any 3D baseplates, so if you have any you can part with lemme know! I do not have a lot to offer in trade, but I might have something (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: US S@H Specials, Mar 20 - Mar 26, 2000

The only piece in the Extreme Creatures set worth anything is the fibre-optic unit. The rest of it is just overpriced spare parts. (Oh, trans-orange wings! Eyes! Big deal.) -Cheese (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Does this price seem a bit high?

(...) Gotta agree. The Egyptians were less pre-fab and generally had better figs (IMO). Also, there were lots of tan pieces... a HUGE upside for us castle people who want to make peasants' houses.   Re: futuron

(...) Having read about 10 messages in this thread, I can't believe that no one has explained the lack of red figs. Someone else (Tim?) mentioned that he uses ST:TNG terminology, and that got me thinking... What if we go back earlier than TNG, and (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Does this price seem a bit high?

(...) I'll have to agree with that. Actually, I am not very happy in general with any of the Amazon Adventurers sets. Some of them are OK, but IMO the Egyptian stuff was much better as a whole. Well, I guess I shouldn't complain too much about this (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Does this price seem a bit high?

(...) Hehe, yeah. Big Plastic Thingies (tm) have been discussed multiple times by the AFOLs, the conclusion was: they're useless. People will buy it for $5, MAYBE, but not for $25. -Shiri (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
