  Re: Silver Metroliner Pics

(...) For now one side is silver and one side is black. This is more due to a lack of another 40 silver macaroni curves than another 40 silver 2x4's. KL (26 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Part number wanted

(...) Yup... That would be me. ;-) (See "(URL) the DAT file.) Thanks, Franklin (26 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Good news!

Excellent job Mark, reminds me a lot of the nu-gundam (I think that's the name of it). The feet are really nice, and the shoulder mounted cannon is very cool. My own attempts with large scale mecha have convinced me to stick to smaller scale, due to (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

That will put a few things in perspective...

This afternoon I am going to TRU to buy a new Lego set. It comes in a box, with instructions. I was just informed by my co-worker that her husband just received something in a box with instructions (well, ok...40 boxes.) It is called a Porsche, and (...)   Re: Dragon Lore

(...) Am I the oddball out? I don't particularly care for the dragon-- mainly due to its lack of mobility :( It's great for that one pose that it's stuck in, but I'd LOVE it if could bend its head (either side to side or up and down) or could lower (...)   Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

There was also *one* available in 316 Fire Fighting Launch. If you look at the Brickshelf scan of the instructions (URL) the part in question is visible at the bottom of step 6 and the top of step 7. -Cheese (...) out (...) I recently finished a book entitled "Roadster: How and especially why a grown man chose to build his own sports car" about a man who built himself a Caterham Seven. (For those who don't know, a Caterham Seven is a kit-car and updated technology (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: anything wrong with this auction?

(...) Coupled with the fact that 6066 wasn't that *great* a set anyway. I certainly wouldn't pay $60+ for one, not even new in the box. Heck, I doubt I'd pay the original retail price for one new in the box. (26 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Fun goodies for your browser's toolbar

(...) Oh no -- dig harder -- it's there! :) We tested Netscape Navigator 4.61 under MacOS and it worked splendidly! (I'm not sure how you get the personal toolbar to unhide, though, if you've hidden it...) --Todd (26 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
