(...) It would be seriously cheaper to just burn them onto cdr disks. And you can just make the number you need and burn more when that lot runs out. You could even make it an ongoing thing with people being to get ldraw on cd instead of spending 5 (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

My guess is that the Polaroid unit will only be able to drive transducers with electrical characteristics very similar to the Polaroid transducer. The transducer functions mainly as a capacitor, and in between pings, it is kept at a couple hundred (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
