Thanks for sending your positiv comments on the Lego Desert Express. I never
thought about using the transparent wall elements behind the white/blue window
frame. In my opinion the gab would become to big. BTW I even wouldn't have
enough wall elements, each window is 5 wide - that makes 2 wall elements per
window. And that also means that I would have to use only 1-stud-wide
(inverted) roof elements! Most of them are 2-studs-wide, especially the
inverted 22,5° pieces in black and blue...
Black windows in my opinion are a resonable solution for that problem - they
could be "sunglasses" ;-)

I just wanted to let you know, that I thought it looked good with the black
windows. I also thought the gap would be to big, but you never know until you
see it done. So, I just wanted to know if you had tried it with glass behind the
custom frame.
