Browsed recent additions at BrickShelf and found this model by Carsten
Luetjens. In case you miss it or Carsten doesn't announce it here:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=1950
I have no idea what the prototype "t41" looks like, but the LEGO brick model
looks very nice...7-wide. I like the bike rack with the "sideways" fences.
Hmm, seeing the windows used in this model reminds me that I might have 3 of
these windows. Gotta check that out- always looking for new window ideas!

Hi James,
Carsten posts at the german 1000steine.de/forum regularly. I don't know, if he
posts on lugnet? I will ask him.
I just found a picture of the "real" Schienenbus. Schienenbus means literaly
Track-bus/coach - a mixture between bus and train. That specific one was run in
the city of Wismar in east Germany. It's nickname is "Schweineschnäuzchen"
(means pig-nose) because of the pig like nose of the train! here is the link:

An other very nice historic piece of LEGO trains - Well done Carsten!!
Happy bricking!
HoMa (Holger Matthes)

Thanks HoMa and Ben for the reference to the photo of the real-life Schienenbus
and Carsten's other creations.
I've enjoyed visiting his home page before. Very nice.

Thanks. The scenery details help the Eurotram "fit-in". Photos of the tram by
itself look lonely and bland.
