(...) Istanbul has better colours :P and a fancier roof. (...) Very nice station. (...) But then I'd lose the fun of squeezing the shrouds in as much as possible. (...) I've admired that one before. I love the window arches and rivets on it. Didn't (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

         Re: Istanbul Tram —John Neal
(...) Thanks. I didn't document it very well, and now it is in mothballs. It won't come back until we redesign our subway modules (which is at least a year away). Hmmm, maybe I'll lend it to the GMLTC.... (...) Check out (URL) linkie> Ours is the (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

--snip-- (...) And I'll raise you with (URL). You can see the two face designs there (maybe three). (...) I "scale" stuff only insofar as things look OK together.          Re: Istanbul Tram —Timothy Gould
(...) Hi Bob, Thanks. I just noticed a mistake after building something else today caused because my train motor ldraw part is a little wrong. It's a fairly minor change but it's safest to wait for the MPD to be changed before starting. Tim (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) And... fixed. Tim PS. Sorry for spamming the forums. Silly me should have changed and then posted rather than the other way around. (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

        Re: Istanbul Tram —Bob Hayes
(...) Tim, Here is a brick built version of your tram: (URL) Slight mods for parts, color, and brick reality - the close coupling does not allow turns when over a motor - the center boogey peg gets in the way. It is a very nice model, ran well, and (...) (18 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

         Re: Istanbul Tram —Timothy Gould
(...) Hi Bob, Am I allowed to say that looks great? I figure I can get away with it because I really like the alternate livery you've chosen ;) Did you make a mod to allow it to turn over the motor? If you have I'll edit it into the CAD file. I (...)
