I finished this two weeks ago and finally got around to taking and editing all the photos. Glad it’s finally done:

I originally made the wheel/suspension setup last spring, but didn’t get around to working on the body until this past winter. Now with this project out of the way, I might be inspired to try some other MOCs.

Anyway, comment away. Questions, suggestions, flames, etc. encouraged. And fill in the little rating form.

Awesome. I love the segmentation / articulation. Nicely intricate and concealed suspension is inspiring -- Double wishbone concealed with regular parts. (20 years ago, 3-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) (snip) That's really cool. I'm gonna have nightmares about all those curved pieces--I can barely get four of them to look good, and here you've raised an entire civilization of the things and they probably worship you as a god. Upside down, (...) (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Sweet! The wheels/suspension are especially nice, but my favorite part is the name, which sounds like something Lego would have come up with. James Wilson Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Bram, Way cool, I'm dying to see how exactly you did the articulations though. And it could use some action shots, with bug eyed Aliens. Thanks, George (20 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Very nice Bram! It immediately reminded me of Terry Keller's ULV-017 (URL). Rockin' suspension, nice lines, very practical-looking. The docking mechanism is a nice plus. BTW, was this (URL) a precursor of the moonbase phenom.? Anyway, this (...) (20 years ago, 5-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Really Nice! And you won't often draw a (granted non-expert) opinion from a castle-head like myself... I love the whole look of the 'legs' with dual wheels. And call me ignorant but I didn't know you guys did 'basic' (for want of a better word) (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) In terms of design and functionality, this has to be one of the best large scale ground based vehicles I've ever seen. Did you consider the possibility of 3 wheels stacked like a pyramid, as opposed to the 2 wheels, one behind the other (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
