Mark Sandlins Civilian MOC Contest finally drew me out. Heres my entry --
the Sunfish land-speeder,
or hover-car, whatever you want to call it.
... That, and the desire to de-SPUD some of my kids Bionicle parts,
inspired this MOC.

Thats some beautiful integration of Bionicle there- reminds me of Jon Palmers
(M?)-Wing. The concept and execution are spot on. And it even looks like you
have folding landing gear. Very nice work. --

Actually, it reminds me of
Travis Kunces Blizzard.
I felt pretty chagrined when Travis unveiled his model. Yours Truly was still
debating which digital camera to buy to photograph his own MOCs. As I said,
work and family keep me busy!

Ive debated whether to actually use those greebles as landing gear. They have
to be a plate taller to touch the ground. I disliked the way that they looked
with anything other than the simple 1 x 1 round brick.
